Bio
Damian is responsible for the Energy & Natural Resources (ENR) Practice globally following four distinct themes: i. Energy & Power ii. Sustainable Resources, iii. Technology Enabled New Energies and iv. Carbon. The practice forms part of the Real Assets group working alongside Infrastructure and Real Estate. He has completed critical mandates from the C Suite down; across EMEA, APAC and the Americas drawing on two decades of experience advising corporates, trade houses, asset managers and investment banks on the threats and challenges facing their markets and the positioning of their businesses.
As the business has developed Damian has worked to expand the firm’s coverage to include mid-Stream Energy infrastructure portfolio companies. Working on succession planning, perception studies and executive level leadership mandates across the sector. Additionally, the practice has been active in sustainability, impact investing and more recently in energy transition. Damian was amongst the first to align with technology enablers and disruptors, working on mandates in new energies, sustainability, climate tech and ESG.
Prior to Sheffield Haworth Damian was a Partner for Global Commodities at Options Group and attended the Royal Agricultural University.
